With all of this c-c-c-cold air blowing through this neck of the woods, and the recent precip we have received, has anybody taken the tools for a walk and seen what conditions are looking like up there? Particular interest taken toward the mellow stuff, as it has been a minute since I have climbed ice.

Thanks!

Second the motion. I'd love to get out and ice climb. Anyone game?

No ice, gentlemen.

Took the tools for a walk Sunday, December 8th. A very thin layer of ice on the first pitch of Little Falls above the log jam.

1st pitch little falls 12.8.13

Ran into a couple of guys that hiked up to the Hose Monster, they said 1st 2 pitches were not in. From the road, it looked like pitch 3 was forming.

Cheers,

Doug
