Ice Climbing near Durango, CO

Hello-
I will be flying into Durango to visit Fort Lewis College on Tues Dec. 11th. I'm coming from Oregon where there is basically no ice so I really would like to see if I can get out and climb ice while in Durango. Where would you recommend I go? I only have a day. Is there a guidebook that covers routes near Durango. Thanks, and if there is anyone who would be willing to show me around that would be AWESOME!!!
