Description

there is only one climb on this cliff that I know of, and it is worth doing if you need to get in an extra pitch after a long day in the narrows. Hike East through a little clearing a ways down the road. The hand crack should be pretty obvious as there are no other large cliffs near it. (there are also some fun boulders you pass on the way there, worth stopping by to do.)

Getting There

On the way to the narrows there is a pull out on the west side of the road a little ways after the access gate

Ice Box Crack 5.9  OK : Wichita Wildlife Refuge : Ice Box Crag
Fun hand crack even though it is the only one on the whole cliff. It is varied in size so bring some big gear also (I think I used a new number four camalot) no anchor at the top but there are trees to sling. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in OK
