Ice boot liner reshape

I use a pair of double plastics for my vertical ice and alpine climbing. Over the years the liners have taken a beating and now have a less than boot like shape to them (seem more like a dirty sock). I was wondering if anyone knew a way to remold them?

I was thinking about just washing them in a washer/dryer to see if that might return some shape. I'm a little worried that might make them worse, also they have bits of leather on them. Any ideas would be great, thanks!

I agree, if your liners are in that rough of shape I wouldn't wash them.

Sounds like it's time to replace your liners. Intuition liners are the way to go. Not cheap but the best out there!

Liners wear out over time. If you're in the older leather paneled liners I would suggest either getting a new boot or getting a new liner. Washing them would get you a clean liner and if they're moldable maybe a shot at remolding. Putting a pair of Denali Intuitions into them will get you a lot. I work at a shop that molds them and they come out great and will help improve the fit and give you more insulation as long as they're fit properly. You can do them yourself but I'd recommend getting them done at a shop that works with them experience working with those liners goes a long way to a better fit.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
