Hung Like John

Starting low in the crack of the balancing boulder make the long moves out the steep prow/arete on sharp crimps to the lip where the challenging mantle awaits. Stand start is V6.

Located on the East side of the balancing boulder.

Oh no, this was around long before John came along.
I recall Gary showing it to me around '77.

I seem to recall being told it was something like V6? and maybe V5 from the stand but I've never really tried it so I don't know.

I have been doing a lot of hard stuff in Boulder Canyon and I drove back to NM the other day and did this boulder prob. The key crimp was broke off and way small now. I would call this a soft V8 but still an eight and a must do if you like to rock climb!
