Going up from inside the mountains at the inner basin would make for a great mountaineering route. Don't know if it's been done before. When you get to the saddle on the hike, look down and you'll see what i mean.

Hey Jonathon, there is an old John Long story about an old timey doctor/mountaineer who lived and climbed in Flagstaff a long time ago. Might be entertaining reading if you can find it online.

There is really nothing class 3/4 about Humphreys Peak on the Snowbowl side of the mountain. As far as mountaineering is concerned, I know that ski descents are frequently done on Humphreys North Cirque. There is a rock band with a narrow couloir towards the bottom that would most likely be pretty cruxy. Possibly some mixed climbing if you don't take the couloir. The east rib that comes up from the Inner Basin to just above the saddle of Humphreys and Agassiz might provide a decent mixed climbing adventure. I also heard from some of the guys at Vertical Relief that some of the dikes towards the more Northeast face have some bolted lines on them.
