Description This is one of the better lines at Cartoon Crag, boasting reasonable protection and solid rock. Start up just a few meters right of the left edge of Cartoon Crag's East Face. The bulging base is overcome on positive and solid holds and gives way to a crack, and then a right-facing corner at mid-height. Past the corner, the cracks become intermittent, but the angle of the climb is lower and the grade easier. Finish up into a bit of a summit gully and place a belay if you are leading/following. To descend, scramble down into the notch South of the East summit and rap from a fixed station.
Location This is the left-most route on the East face of Cartoon Crag, ascending a crack and corner system.
Protection A standard light rack of nuts and cams should give a leader reasonable protection along the way up.
