| I'm still dumbfounded that the wife agreed to go camping at a climbing destination with me. We used to get out together a lot. But now that her career has taken off, climbing is all about me and weekend trips DON'T include her. So, if I screw this up; this very well may be our last climbing trip. As to title states: How's Shelf right now? I guess my main concern is if the camping is packed snow & ice or if the area is relatively clear. | FLAG |

| I was just there last weekend. Everything is warm and dry. No snow at all at the Bank campground. Climbing at Cactus Cliff on Friday was a bit warm. Since Saturday and Sunday were even warmer we climbed in the shade at the Dark Side and Sand Gulch and it was a lot more comfortable. Wandering out into the sun was super hot. Highs for those days were around 80 degrees. Got down to low 40s at night. | FLAG |

| Was there for Easter. get there in the next few weeks since temps Are rising. Camping is packed but if you have a car with good Clearence take the left immediately after the cattle gate at sand gulch and you can pretty much camp anywhere. Have fun. | FLAG |

| The campgrounds are completely clear right now. I recommend camping at Sand Gulch and not the Bank. It can get pretty windy up at the Bank. If it's cooler, cactus has a bunch of fun "wife appropriate" climbing, as does Sand Gulch. If it's hot the dark side has a bunch of fun 10's and 11's. Have fun! | FLAG |
