How would YOU like to see POV climbing footage?

Getting a go pro rip off soon (good quality i swear) and i have noticed everyone (me included) find POV footage of climbing boring and terrible, so before i put out any content i would like to ask, what would you like to see?
Would you like to see me soloing stuff? Trad stuff? sport stuff? do you want me to speed the footage up? heavy cuts to the original footage? Light cuts to the original footage? Multi-pitch stuff left in? Tell me what you want people!!!
Edit: Would just like to say, i will be doing some soloing stuff and it will be filmed though then the question still applies, how do you want the footage to be presented?

Trying not to violate rule #1, but in all seriousness: leave the damn thing at home and just climb.

There's a reason that no one in the history of climbing has ever shot a go pro climbing video worth watching (except, of course, for people who royally fuck up on while wearing one)

I like to watch POV videos that show how to do stuff like set up top ropes and protection placement.

^ Nate doesn't want to see you climb.

For the short while that I had a Gopro before dropping it off a cliff, I found that I got the best footage when belaying. FPS mode climbing videos are almost as bad as FPS mode movies.

Love to see POV of people racking up, most exciting part of the climb. Nothing gets me going like seeing somebody harness rack their entire double rack of C4s along with a full set of hexes, and what was that? Did I just see you rack a tricam? That gets me going. In all seriousness, just have fun with it?

Angel guardian free solo vid (Osman?) is astounding. And terrifying. Otherwise, myeh. They're your home movies, do what you wish. :-)

Angel's Landing solo video isn't Danno. He died almost 10 years before the first digital GoPro was ever released. The climber is a Zion local named Arturo.

And to the OP - No one watches POV climbing footage. Seriously. It sucks and it's boring.

I want to see some pantsless soling. I am not talking about some crude expose of your junk. You know something tasteful and subtle. Think Shockley's Ceiling but GoPro.

So you can't think of any way where POV footage could be entertaining? I am well aware POV footage is boring that's why i made this thread, so i can make it not boring.

BASE jumping pov or don't bother. Climbing is fun to do, but not watch.

Put the go pro on a pre hung drag above the crux (shooting down at you as you approach the crux). Fall many times in an epic fashion before pulling the move.

If you must wear it on your head, simulclimb with Aleks while drinking vodka.

Attach the gopro to a drone and have someone follow you up the climb. Theres your best POV.

When I have watched a few videos of someone climbing with a Go Pro, the view is constantly moving up and down as they look for footholds and handholds. Annoying. Not fun for the viewer. Leave the Go Pro at home.

I actually like watching these gopro videos of climbs i'm thinking about doing and sometimes they are just a fun relaxing thing to watch before bed.

This guy does it well:
youtube.com/user/RandomDisc…

pretty quick efficient climber with good camera positioning on cool climbs. Seeing the gear placement is half the fun. It actually looks like you are the one climbing.

here is a video on how not to do it:
youtube.com/watch?v=MjAiVut…
half the screen is his nose. handholds and footholds out of sight. gear placements out of sight. sewing up a 5.6 and moving slow. If you aren't doing something useful or making upward progress then fast forward. no offense to the guy i appreciate that he recorded and published this but moving the camera would go a long way for him.

My favorite videos are trad POV videos where you get to watch somebody fiddle with gear for 20 min.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
