Enough routes have been added to an area that I created that it would make sense to divide the area into 2 sub-areas. This will also allow me to order routes from L to R (which is not really possible right now). Is doing this possible without deleting the whole area plus routes and start from scratch again?

You have to move the routes out to a different area, then create the sub areas, then move them back to the correct sub area.

I usually create something like a "temporary area" to move the routes in and out, then delete it when I am done. I don't know if you need to be an administrator to do that or not.

If you cannot move the routes out, you will need to enlist the help of one of the UT admins.
