Description

At the end of a neighborhood in Weymouth, Massachusetts (on the south side of Boston) sits a 30 foot tall boulder that has much potential. Here you can find 2 hand crack climbs, easy face climbs, and an airy arete. There is also potential for some bouldering problems here.

Getting There

House Rock is only 10 minutes south of Quincy Quarries off of Route 3. From I-93 south, merge onto Route 3 south and take exit 16B. Merge onto Route 18 south, go 0.2 miles, and take a left onto middle street. Go 1.7 miles and turn left onto Essex Street. Go 0.3 miles and turn onto House Rock Road. House Rock Park is at the end of the road. The rock is visible from the parks entrance right behind the swing set at the far back left hand side.

I did a route here with Tim Kemple BITD. T was around 12 and so was the route. Right side of the main face with a hard start.
