Learning to ascend and rap off the dining room beams in the early days. That's a home depot rope and some mil surp webbing. As you can see in the second pic, I've upgraded. Though I still practice new technique on the beams...
Does storing the gear in the living room count as decor? Not sure the g.f agrees with me on that...

Pretty interesting the crap used for pro. Love the wooden pin I lifted out of a route at Pok-o-moonshine. The other one would not come out. Love to show the kids I climb with how short the old quarter inchers could be.
