Description

These crags are located inside Joshua Tree Nat. Park, and are behind the hospital in Joshua Tree, off the main hwy. There are a number of climbs that have been done around this neighborhood. Here are a few of them.

Gordon Branch 5.10-*
crack (Faces the hwy)
All in the Family 5.10 b/c **
Hands over a roof to bolted face 2 bolt anchor
Early Retirement 5.8*
bolts on a slab buttress to 2 bolt anchor
Burkuleese 5.8
crack , located to the left of Early Retirement
All in the family, Early Retirement, and Burkuleese all face West.

Getting There

Drive East past the town of Joshua Tree for a mile or two until you come to the hospital (on the right). A bit further down the road, you will see some crags off to the right. These are the Hospital Crags. Drive over to them, park, and hike over to them.
