Description

Crux it the top of the short vertical section 30 feet up. Fun and secluded in trees (100 yards up hill from the road).

Location

About 1.5 miles west of the Beige Siphon Tube. Park at the paved parking at the diversion dam. Cross the river. 100 yards above the river up the main gully. Cant see it from the road for the trees. Easy start to a short pillar with an easy finish. Hike down the talus to descend.

Protection

Screws, tree at top to rap off of.

You can see this route from the top of Hahn's Solo. It too is in the shade and may last a bit longer. Again, I did not see evidence of previous attempts, if someone did it prior to 2-9-7, let me know. This route is worth the hike. I soloed it, but it will suck up gear. You can do Treebeard on the way uphill.
