Traverse training in the Hobo Cave, Flagstaff Mtn.


Secluded side track on lower Flagstaff Mountain.

Getting There 

Take Flagstaff Trail starting at intersection where Flagstaff Road, meets the left hand turn-off into Gregory Canyon parking area, southeast side of Flagstaff Mountain. Hike up winding trail and look out to right for butress. Cave is found on its lower lefthand point.

Climbing Season

Weather station 1.7 miles from here

By the way, the cave can be climbed in literally any weather condition, and even the outer parts stay in the shade until noon-ish.
