Description 

Also know as Vaso Island on the topo maps, this island is across the water from Carderock. It's a semi-wilderness experience in the middle of a not-very-wilderness recreation area. Be prepared to get dirty.


Getting There 

Cross the river about 100 yards upstream from Carderock.
