The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
Footwork and balace will see you through as you bearhug and highstep your way up the blunt arete left of Slabmaster. The problem can be started from either side of the blunt arete and the difficulties ease the higher you get.
