Me climbing up at the Golden Cliffs

I am trying to post a picture into a thread in the forums. I have the pic saved on my computer but I don't want to post it to my profile or anything (its for a Lost and Found thread). How do I do that without posting it elsewhere on the web first?

The photo must be on Mountain Project or on a public web server in order to be displayed on Mountain Project.

If it's on your computer and you don't run a public web server, you're out of luck.

Click on "Text Formatting Features" when you're creating/editing a post to see the syntax for posting a photo.
