located on Hwy 123, 40 min northeast of Lamar and 20mon southwest of the town of Pelsor. from Pelsor, 12mi from junction of Hwy 7 and Hwy 123. follow 123 south for 11mi to the big piney bridge. continue driving 1.1mi past the bridge and park in a dirt pullout on the left side or drive until you see Haw Creek Campground and park there.

The trail to Haw Creek East is well traveled, probably because of all the hikers going to the falls. The trail starts just right of the small stream coming down from the hill. Park .5 miles (heading east) from the Haw Creek Falls campground entrance on the right side of the road. A short 5 min uphill approach to the cliff.
