Description Hard Rock Minor is the first and only bolted line on the first carg of the west side crags (South end of west side crags), its on the Three Aces Wall.
Location Continue up the road to the end of the right side crags there is an obvious turn out to the left close to the river and small turn out to the right, Park here. Walk up the road about 50 ft then go down and cross the river to an old road on the west side of the river. walk north about 100 yards through aspen until you are in a grove of pine trees. On your left there was sticks pointing to the trail but take the path of least resistance up to the three aces wall. the trail should take you right to hard rock minor. use this approach for all west side crags. just head north to all the other east side crags.
Protection 9 Bolts with optional #1 tcu. 2 bolt and chain anchors. if you exit the crack left of the last bolt the climb is 5.10 and medium gear would be needed.

| Nice face climbing, cleaner than the other routes in the area. Lower face is mostly low .10 with a single move at the last bolt to top off. Note: there two nice Fixe anchors at the top, but they are set back about 7' so you can't lower or top rope off them unless you carry a bunch of slings. Enjoy the nice belay from the top. |
