Description Suggest change

Begin below a roof with a ledge to the right about head level. Work face holds and a finger crack (pro) to gain the ledge. Move over the roof on good holds up to another ledge with a striking finger crack that looks like the Grim Reaper's Sickle. Climb this clean crack to an arĂȘte and continue up the slab to the anchors located left of a short corner.

This climb pros well and is ideal for the novice trad leader.

Location Suggest change

The start is located up the talus and broken ledges a few hundred feet north of Day Hike. Look for the Sickle-like crack on a green lichened face half way up the cliff. To deproach, rap back down to the lowest ledge and scramble down the talus to terra firma.

See the PCT - middle topo for location details.
