Air Command

Add Photo  Add Comment    Printer View

Description

scary start on a left gaston, right jug, and a high heel. make a dicey move to a left hand crimp, and right heel hand match to get to a good rail. make another move to a left hand crimp, and set up for a huge lunge to a good edge.

VAR: eliminate the good rail/crescent hold. not sure about the grade

Protection

pads... especially to protect the pit of despair at the beginning.

Anyone know where "Air Command" came from?? This has been on the locals bouldering circuit for at least over a decade and it was always known as Hairpin roof right. I think the V6 described here is "Hairpin Roof".

sorry about the misname. i heard from a guy passing through claiming he had talked to a former local. i will see if i can find out more about who he talked to, and where he got 'Air Command.'

as for now, the name has been changed from 'Air Command,' to 'Hairpin Roof Right.'

thanks for your input luke.
