Description Suggest change

This is the large buttress above the Shark's Fin. It is immediately east of Enos Mills' Last Erection. The crag is named for the large, mostly lichen-free face, but guidebooks include climbs on the lower part of the buttress which is covered in green and yellow lichens. The rock on the lower part of the buttress is generally good, but it is eroded and friable higher up.

Getting There Suggest change

Approach as for the Shark's Fin and other crags in the area. If approaching from the south or southwest, you will cross the large boulder/talus field below and south of the buttress.

Descend from Grey Slab by walking east and traverse right or left to talus gullies.
