| My friends Tanja and Uli had built an amazing climber's camp in Thakhek, Laos. Not only was the climbing there incredible, the food was great, the beds were comfy, and everything was super cheap. It was also designed to be eco-friendly and provided employment for many locals. On nye a fire started and the restaurant and all but 3 of the thatched huts burnt down. They're planning on rebuilding and trying to get back on their feet, but are completely broke after two years of pouring everything into the place. I've linked the donation page below for anyone that would like to keep help out, but the best way to help would be to go and visit, or tell anyone you know who is in the area. They have tent accommodations set up and are serving 3 meals a day. Go experience the great climbing, beautiful scenery, and interesting Laos culture, and know you're helping some folks out in the process! greenclimbershome.com Donations page | FLAG |
