Great Dane wondering Holcomb Valley tails!!!

My wife and I were coming down the final stretch Holcomb Valley Rd right before Dump Access Rd and had a black Great Dane run across the trail. I got out and tried to pick call him over but he didn't seem to like my mastiff. We asked around with our neighbors and posted up locally but no one has a clue who he belongs to. As of today 11/21/2015 he's still out there and it's getting cold up here quick. If he's yours and you live a ways away let me know his name and I'll try to grab him again so we can get him home ASAP. If someone sees this and manages to catch him please let me know for a piece of mind, or if he needs a home in the mean time we'll take care of him until he's claimed.

It would be nice if you could grab him, regardless of anyone claiming him. At least take him to the shelter. Like you say, it's gonna get really cold later this week, and he might not survive.

Thanks for trying to find its owner, Justin.

There will be no shelter for him if I can catch him I promise that, he's a quick one. If the owner doesn't respond to any of the posts my wife have put up and there's no chip with an address we will just keep him. My big puppy could use a big friend.

Nice!

Edit: If you catch him, don't forget to have him scanned for a microchip. The vet or the shelter can do that for you. That's probably what you meant by a "chip."
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
