Please get the information correct before posting, not knowing exactly what you are referring to, this sounds like "Grateful He's Dead" 5.10, FA: Pete Vercheck. Put up the day after Jerry died.

If they are indeed the same route then I vote for leaving the route in the database as the Center Route.

The name apparently given by the FA team is totally lame!

To be honest, I didn't even realize you were quoting a song.

Like you, I don't listen to the Dead anymore and have moved on but I am not one to now look back and say it all sucked. It was great for what it was and I had many good times with great people because of their music. I guess my point is that it's one thing for someone to say they didn't like Jerry or the Dead or that they sucked as musicians, but it's another thing to say that you're happy they're dead. I save those thoughts for people like Jim Jones and Saddam.

They did suck. They were fun becasue they were good drug dealers, but as musicians, well, I think they only had one song where they actually tried to play as compnents to a band... everything else was a hippie jam fest.

Yeah, The Dead Rocked!! Compared to most American music of the late 20th century, they were way, way better. Their music also helped me through a few rough psychedelic episodes. I don't listen to them too much anymore, but they sure opened up my eyes to a bunch of other great music that I probably never would have discovered. Thanks Jerry, RIP.
