Has anyone been up on any part of this route recently?

Trying to get a better idea of the snow/ice conditions. Planning to do the Cathedral Traverse next weekend, 7/18.

Thanks!

Still a lot of snow between Owen and grandstand. Slow going bring crampons and axe for sure.

I can not speak for the North Ridge of the Grand. As for Teewinot it is in that mid-season condition not quite all snow or all rock. The two prongs are mostly snowed in. The upper Koven as well as the summit bench is still covered in snow. Good Luck!

i was on Owen 2 mondays ago, and it was real filled in with snow. Met some fellas on the koven col who were doing the cathedral traverse and they followed our steps to the summit, and they were both pretty surprised with the amount of snow everywhere, compared to previous years. Have fun, good luck!
