Can you tell me what the grade of the route I did in the gym is? I'm thinking somewhere around 5.10c-5.12b. Thanks, this is the first time I've done a first route and I don't know how to grade climbs very well. (It's the red line on the climb wall).

If anyone is able to tell you the grade of a route by simply looking at a picture of it i would like to meet them, and give them an award for being badass. Without climbing the route it would be tough to say. If your not sure put a piece of paper at the base and as people climb it instruct them to write down what grade they think it is. You should be able to get it narrowed down pretty close by doing that. Also, can you climb it? If so what is your max grade? When you climb it are you at your limit? Hope this helps.

Photocodo: thanks for the "help"

I can climb it sometimes, it depends on which rock holds I use. I have climbed routes hard as 5.12b and fallen on routes as hard as 5.10d, depends which holds I use.

I don't know about the grade, but the route looks super classic.

I could tell you the grade if I knew which red line was your route..... is it the one named STOP, or the other red line??

The real question should be, "why are you climbing at climb time Indy?"

Edited to add: soft .8p

That looks like an epic 14c to me. You know... depending on which holds you use...
