Is it possible that both Tyler's were overstating their prowess? I can't imagine that to be the case. They must just be on a long lunch.

I'm looking forward to some inspiration after they've finished their lunch.

One of the TYLER's (Tyler T.) claims on his profile page to be a 5.14 "TRAD" climber, yet has ZERO routes that he's done listed.

Hmmm...

I have a pretty funny joke.

There was this trad guy who hated sport. He travelled to Kentucky and quickly sent WTOK, and managed to hang on every sport route there harder than mid 11.

A week before that trip, the same trad climber failed to send Moonlight Buttress because of the pumpy sections, not the crack.

Fast forward a few years, the trad climber was living somewhere with sport and was active in developing hard new routes there. Once he left that place he quickly put away all of his old unfinished trad projects. He also found himself with the movement skills to succeed on traditional climbs and R rated routes with far more confidence than he'd ever had before.

The punchline isn't sport vs trad. It's pushing yourself vs not.

"Alright I am sorry for hating on sport climbing. Just prefer trad that's all."...

Certainly a better way to put it!

What you may find out in the long haul is that it is ALL climbing and ALL fun!

To think one is better is nonsense! "To each their own", right?

People that try and place themselves above others with complete bullsh!t thinking like, "I ONLY climb "TRAD" so I'm super COOL!"

LMAO!

Right!

All trad climbs do not ONLY protect with "gear."

Trad climbs can be bolted... On lead.

Traditional climbing has more to do with ethics and style "leave no trace" climbing.

WTF?! he gave up? shit I just popped a bag...

Agreed. Take stone mountain NC for example. Is it insanely runout sport or is it "trad"?
