Description Right of the SCC boundary, Golden Arches is a Steele classic and one of the last climbable routes on the cliffline. Climb a bucketed, poorly protected face to a crack through a bulge. Pull this onto a nice, flat ledge, protect the 2nd, move right, and belay in the corner. Alternately, climb the thinly protected corner, directly below the arch above, at 10+. From the right end of the ledge, climb the inverted staircase up, left, up, left, etc...until you pull up into the bushes. Belay. Find something to rap off of. Can be done in one pitch with wise rope management.
Location Way Right.
