DescriptionGoat Rocks offers something a little different than other Humboldt climbing areas. The boulders are comprised of several different types of rock including sandstone, chert and graywacke. Many of the boulders are water polished making for subtle and challenging moves. Technique, rather than power is necessary to solve many of the problems. Getting ThereGoat Rocks is located along the Van Duzen River about 1.5 miles west of Bridgeville on Hwy 36. There is a large pullout and trail leading to the river.
