Description
Gneiss Canyon is on the east side of the Laramie River Canyon and its top is visible just east from the Laramie River bridge on Tunnel Rd when looking downstream. This east to west flowing steep sided canyon's rock is granite gneiss and it offers cracks systems and occasionally some face features. The canyon is intermittently filled with large boulders.
