Gibbs Canyon Rocks Rock Climbing
Summer where the big boys play
|All or at least a portion of this rock is on private property MORE INFO >>>|
Facing Tunnel Road is a spectacular roof with a fist crack passing to its edge and up the face. The first ascent was done by Bob Scarpelli (circa early 1990's). What the Big Boys Eat 12c has Scarpelli size fists at the crux. At the time Scarpelli did this route the ranch had other managers and working for the redpoint was not halted by the ranch concerns.
The rock is 1.0 miles west of the Laramie River bridge on Tunnel Road and east of and adjacent to the road on a hill.
