Climbing at Ghost Rd.

Description

This is the next area to the north of Bodick Rd. Area.
This area is more extensive than Bodick and not quite as badly trashed. Many short solos and top ropes exist, along with bouldering and some short sport and trad leads.
The rock varies from grainy to excellent.

Getting There

Head north from Yucca Valley on Old Woman Springs Rd./Hwy. 247. Johnson Valley is reached after about 17 miles. This is the next area after Bodick Rd.
Dirt roads run all around this area and there are plenty of spots to park.
More details to come.

My boys and I LOVED this crag. I thought the rock quality was excelent, especially on Mickeys Wall. There is something for everyone here. Many thanks to Blitzo for posting this area.

Glad to see that people have been enjoying this neat little crag that your's truly developed.

Two additional lines (As of 3/20/13) have now been bolted for lead. New anchors, ta boot!
