|The Infectious Cave / Slab
Climb up for 15 feet, then head left up the groove to its end. Finally continue up the smooth-looking headwall. This route always stays dry...
The big left diagonalling pocketed groove. Start in the center of the cave, right of a small sub-cave.

Lore has it that this route sports drilled or enhanced pockets, though it climbs well. This is not a big issue, because it was one of the first of it's grade near Vegas at the time, and also considering the ethics in the area. I personally would not attach a manufactured tag to the description.
The first female ascent was by Stephanie Forte around 2002 or 2003 if I recall correctly. An interesting story about her ascent is that she was bonking from lack of energy one day at the base and found only a Halloween size packet of Starburst candies in her pack. She ate a red one and sent immediately afterwards. For months afterward, she did not go to a crag without bag of Starbursts, and ate a red one before a serious redpoint attempt as a good luck charm. After her ascent, the local boyz murmured of downgrading the 5.13c rating. It has stuck over the years and Steph's ascent was certainly impressive for the time and made the news in the mags. Perhaps this made her a Ghetto Girl?
