Charlie Company 4th Light Armored Reconnissance
Battallion a Marine Reserve unit out of Salt Lake City Utah was mobilized and is now in Iraq of a while. There are quite a few climbers in the Co. so we are building a climbing wall to help keep things enteresting. We have Metolius Rock Rings and Nicros is sent the HIT system. And from this form quite a few people have sent mags holds a rope and shoes. We are very grateful!! Anything that any body can give would be greatly apreciated (old crusty holds to old climbing mags chalk what ever). I really don't know how to thank you all for your support and kind words. One more reason I love climbing so much the friends you make are priceless.
Thanks again
Aaron

In a zoo in California, a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately, due to complications in the pregnancy, the cubs were born prematurely and due to their tiny size, they died shortly after birth.

The mother tiger after recovering from the delivery, suddenly started to decline in health, although physically she was fine. The veterinarians felt that the loss of her litter had caused the tigress to fall into a depression. The doctors decided that if the tigress could surrogate another mother's cubs, perhaps she would improve.

After checking with many other zoos across the country, the depressing news was that there were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the mourning mother. The veterinarians decided to try something that had never been tried in a zoo environment. Sometimes a mother of one species will take on the care of a different species. The only "orphans" that could be found quickly, were a litter of weaner pigs. The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the piglets in tiger skin and placed the babies around the mother tiger.
Me

NO kidding, these guys are working crazy hours the rest of us can't imagine. The sanity gained from a tearing your fingers up during a quick boulder session is gold over there.

Count me in for something. Let me know what you're short on and I can work something I'm sure.

PS. Take a look at the cracks where the 13 foot T-barriers meet. We were jam'n 5.7's - 5.11's this last trip for me.

The mad bomber!

I have a bunch of old climbing rags that are collecting dust and a couple of shoes that are a little worn but better than boots I would imagine. PM me.

If you are in Cedar City I can bring down stuff from SLC this holiday.
