The curriculum vitae of that group pretty much defines the standard on which our sport is built.

Perhaps I'm out of the loop: but what's with Jeff Lowe being in the electric wheel chair?

I'm sure that would have been a heckuva great campfire, with stories of those guys!!! For Sure!!!

Even so, Jeff probably has a more cheerful disposition than a majority of the healthy population. He is truly an inspiration.

You can love your rope but you can't "LOVE" your rope!
(Back by Popular Demand. There you are Mom)

How many years of cumulative climbing experience is represented by this photo? Maybe 300?

Donini's years are compressed because of all the time he spent in Alaska and Patagonia. But yeah, 300 is about right.

Seriously. Most of those guys have at least 40 years climbing. Some probably have more than that. So 300 isn't too far off the mark? That is a LOT of stories....

Got Milk? How about forearm pump? Tony leads "Alan Nelson's Bulging Belly" (5.10, X) on the Lost and Found Flatiron. Belayer is Mark Ruocco. Photo by Bill Wright, 10/06.

Next time anybody sees Donini, Tell him that I was just talking with Tom Engelbach and wondered if his toes were still hurting him. Then stand back and wait for the cussing to stop... hehehh hhe.

Coffee after freezing our asses off near James Peak.

Jeff has another disease that looks like MS on the surface, but is different. He mentioned it on Supertopo a while back. In any case, it's a nice photo. Good to see some faces in there I have only read about or heard a friend was climbing with.

Thanks for posting that, Jody.

Busting his balls was kinda fun considering who it was and how he'd introduced himself to me.
