Did anyone watch the documentary on PBS last night?

I ended up working until 10.30pm last night (don't even become a Storage Engineer) but even if I had been home, I most likely would not have watched it.

My wife Rae and I used to share a house with Andy Harris and his partner Fiona during the NZ Heliski season and I spent many a day climbing with Rob Hall. Although it's over 10 years now I haven't been able to come to any sort of peace about it. Time passes but doesn't seem to help that much.

Anyhow, ... if anyone watched it I'd be interested to hear what you thought.

Here's a link to the site. I think you an actually watch it from here as well.

Sorry to hear that it was the loss of a friend & partner John. Yep u can watch the entire video on this site... Rob was portrayed as a hero, he didn't want to leave his client Doug who was making his second summit attempt. I met and climbed with Charlotte Fox once. It's the kind of thing one never can forget, I never cared to bring it up to talk to her about it.

I found the "Survivor's Stories" link an interesting read - Breashears interview also good

It's a documentary-interview, re-telling the story in a personal way from the individual survivor's point-of-view
