On top of Rectory

Amigos,

If you see some cheapo cams sold with a nail polish pink dot at the base of the stems, please pray for the soul of the guy with me. I don't care that he got away with about 8K worth of gear by breaking the window in my car on Mission and 24th in San Fran. The only thing that I am upset about is that my climbing trip and some of the climbing season is ruined. I am lucky that my renter's insurance would consider to cover this.

Let the guy know that he is wrong in a bad way. And that he may steal my gear, but still can't ruin my adventures :)

Don't leave anything in the cars in San Fran.

Cool snow formation at the base.

24th & Mission is one of the last places I'd leave anything in my car. My buddy used to get his car broken into every couple weeks down there, even without anything visible.

Once, the only thing he had in his car was a mushroom candy bar. Apparently it looks like a regular snickers or something and is enough dosage for about three people or so. My buddy came out the next morning and his car had been broken into and there lay the empty wrapper...

P.S. Good luck with your gear.

Bucky

Bummer, sorry to hear about your stuff Dmitriy. Hopefully your renters insurance will cover it.

....and yes, leaving anything in your car, especially in the Mission is not a great idea.

Cheers man.
