Description Suggest change

Set among pine trees and a sandy atoll, the Garden Weasel fires up a short, prominent tower which oversees the oasis that is the Quartz Garden. The route is not all that exciting, but what the heck, you're already in a great spot, why not clip a couple of bolts and enjoy the scenery. The zen garden earns this climb one star.

Once you've found the Quartz Garden (see access details), walk north out into the clearing. Rock walls hulk in numbers all around. You'll see a detached tower overlooking the Garden and obvious bolts mark the route.

The crux of this climb is getting to the first bolt. You can boulder up to a mantel or you can traverse in on a shelf from the left. Either way, don't fall making the clip, it would hurt.... Once above this bolt, the climbing opens up with huge holds leading the way past two more widely spaced bolts. But save for a bee sting, lightning, or heat stroke (all possibilities, really), you should cruise easily to the anchor.
