Near in Ammon Idaho, off the interstate is a simulator for alpine sickness. It is the obvious gash missing from the mountains in the west known as Old Tom mtn. The winter climbing is roadside alpine and is serious and amazing!

This place is awesome! No approach, and fun climbing! I'll be back for sure!

The rock here is deteriorating and very unstable. The chains and bolts are completely rusted over and in need of replacement. The climbs as stated are NOT 5.5-5.7, I am a good climber, and had difficulty with every single one, I would rate them at 5.9+. on the easy ones, the harder climbs maybe up to 5.11d+. As one guy says, falling here is not in your best interest because, if your doing trad, the rock is unstable, I wouldnt trust any gear in it, and if your doing sport, the anchors and chains are old and rusty, and not trustworthy. Water moss and elements have completely taken over this crag because it is hardly climbed. The one word I would chose to describe this area is sketchy.
