Description
Garden Creek splits the Bannock Range between Old Tom Mountain and Cedar Mountain, forming the Garden Creek Gap. The resulting exposed quartzite provides a variety of fun objectives, from single-pitch sport climbs to long winter mixed climbs. This venue is conveniently located just off the interstate near Arimo, ID.
In the winter months, The Gap becomes a simulator for alpine sickness. The winter climbing is roadside alpine and is serious and amazing! In addition to this, there are a number of single-pitch cracks, bolted lines, and scrambles to be had throughout The Gap during the dry seasons.
