Description If you like awkward climbing through loose rock, dirt, bird shit and dead animal carcass, this is the ultimate line for you! This route takes you 70 feet up a flaring chimney where the clips are basically behind you and often times it's unclear if you are actually climbing on rock at all. The hangers should be removed from this pile and it should be condemned as a biological hazard to all forms of life. I can't imagine finding anything worse than this route at Shelf and personally I have never climbed any route anywhere that is worse than this. If you climb it, may God have mercy on your soul.
Location This is the obvious chimney right of Affluenza and Whiteman's Burden.
Protection Quickdraws, helmet, goggles, shop-vac, bio-suit.

| I thought this route was kind of fun, mostly due to its awkwardness. Yes, the clips are behind you and it may be a little freaky for the moderate leader, but I don't think it's the worst route at Shelf. |

| Dude, don't listen to that rant of a description. I found this route to be fun and unique, with stemming, chimneying and crack climbing all coming into play. I concede that the bolt placement is awkward. Line would probably be better with trad protection. Still, I would suggest this one - don't be off put by the description. |
