Description 

Fukushima has recently become the most famous prefecture in Japan due to the March 11th, 2011 Tsunami and Power Plant disaster. The latter may make some wary about coming here for climbing, but everyday life continues for the Japanese. For the time being things appear safe.

Getting There 

From Tokyo, you can take the Tohoku Expressway North. There are also plenty of trains taking you to the major cities in Fukushima: Fukushima City, Koriyama, etc.
