Description Suggest change

Fred shares its start with Towering Inferno. After Inferno's 4th bolt head straight up to an overhanging left-facing dihedral. Stem and make a reachy clip on the face around the corner to your right. Move around the corner, and then continue straight up past 10 more bolts on sometimes overhanging rock to the anchor. It helps to back clean the first 2 or 3 bolts of Towering Inferno to lessen rope drag.

Location Suggest change

Inner Gorge at right end of the Eldorado Roof. Shares start with Towering Inferno. Lower off with a 60m or 70m rope to a triple bolt anchor at 80 feet. From here pull and lower to the ground, or rap.

Protection Suggest change

16 bolts with a 2-bolt mussy hook lower-off at the top. With either a 60m or 70m rope you can lower down to an independent anchor which is located off to the left of Fred's 10th bolt. From here you can pull and lower or rap 80 feet to the ground. An 80m rope allows you to lower from the top to the ground.
