I am in desperate need of a hangboard, yet too cheap to buy one brand new. Anyone have any old boards, extras, etc.? Let me know. Thanks!

Rock rings, used plastic holds (jugs, crimps, pinches, pockets...), any sort of climbing specific things to pull down/up on.... Bu-bu-bu-bump.

You should just make one out of pine. If you have the tools it costs about $6 per hangboard in supplies. You need:

4 feet of 1x10 pine (about $1.25 a foot)
6 1.25" screws ($.12 ea.)
3 3" screws ($.16 ea)
a saw
a router
a drill
wood glue

This will tell you how to do it step by step:

Using a sabre saw or jig saw like the above link does is too time consuming. Instead use a router like this guy does:

I made one in about 3 hours. I have no other carpentry experience. It's pretty easy.

Making your own sounds like a good idea. Sonnie Trotter has some pictures/ideas on his website (sonnietrotter.com) and he also builds them professionally.

I have one I would sell, but shipping it from the front range would add around 15 dollars to the price. If you have interest still send me a PM and I can send you photos of it. Looking for 30 bucks for it. (45 total)
