| I'm looking to pick up copies of:
The Self Coached Climber - Dan Hague Rock Climbing Anchors - Craig Luebben AND/OR (any recommendation?) More Climbing Anchors - John Long Climbing Self Rescue - Andy Tyson
Also looking to pick up a pair of ice tools. Something that compromises, with a bent/curved shaft for some knuckle clearance, but has a clean enough shaft for plunging in snow and neve, and hopefully an interchangeable pick to trade out one tool for a traditional pick. Black Diamond Venom, e.g. My goals are long alpine routes with short sections of true vertical ice, if at all.
Anybody have anything that they don't want anymore or are upgrading from? | FLAG |

| Tucker, I have a pair of Grivel Light Wings that I might be convinced to part with. They are probably 4 years old. I haven't climbed that much on them because I changed to a different set of tools.
I have some goullottes picks on them, or I would consider selling them without picks (or with one pick if you wanted to put a positive curve pick on the other one). The picks I have are sharp and in good condition.
Right now I have an adze on one and hammer on the other. I will need to check to see what I have in my toolbox and on my other tools, because I want to make sure to have one adze and two hammers for myself. But my suspicion is that I have enough to sell them with the adze and hammer.
PM me if you are interested.

| Tucker, I think Rock Climbing Anchors is a much better book than the John Long one.
Heelhook, how much for the Grivel TK? My buddy might take them if the price is reasonable. | FLAG |

| FA Heelhook - thanks for the offer, but Taa-K-Oons are a bit more technical than the alpine climbing tools i'm looking for.
divnamite - thanks for the info, i think i'm going to end up with the book you recommend when jesse bader comes to town.
Bobby - any news on the grivel light wings? i'm interested.
bump, anybody have self-coached climber or climbing self-rescue? | FLAG |

| I'm selling my Omega Alphas. One hammer, one adze. Very similar design to Petzl Axars. Only a small pinkie rest to deal with plunging-wise, and a real spike in the end. The picks MAY not be available any more. But these are in VG condition, and they are adjustable - you can alter the angle from steep downwards (technical ice) to more upright (alpine applications). $120 for the pair incl. CAMP leashes.
I though I had a pic of these on NEice but it seems to have disappeared. EDIT - I reposted it. Mike | FLAG |
