| Hello: I am not a climber but I am selling items from a friend’s traditional rack (called a Little Cottonwood Canyon (Utah) rack by an associate who is helping me on this project). My friend is 59 and dying from the end stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Any money from the sale will go to his wife for his care. He worked for the Park Service in Yosemite in the mid to late 70’s on the backcountry rescue program. He retired from the Forest Service two years ago when his memory prevented him from working. He was meticulous about his gear and sewed his own webbing. All the items are in very good shape. Some look they have never been placed.
Black Diamond hexes, sizes 8, 7 (two), 5 and 4. Set of 5 for $35. Will sell them individually.
Stoppers/rocks: Assorted set of stoppers. 13 in all for $40.
11 mm rope: probably 60 meters. Looks unused but I don’t really know its history. $60.
Black Diamond sit harness, size medium: $25.
Black Diamond Camelot, 4.5, never placed: $45.
Black Diamond Camelot, 3.5: $40.
Black Diamond Camelot, red: $30.
Black Diamond Camelot, blue: $25.
Metollius tri-cams, sizes 3, 4, 1, 0: $25 each.
Caming units, not sure of the manufacturer, 4 assorted sizes; $30 for the four.
Flex friends; 2: $30 each.
Black Diamond D beiners: 25 or so, $3 each.
I live here in SLC. Let me know what you think. I plan to post this stuff for sale in the next day or so after I have a climbing friend that I have things written down correctly. Thanks, Mark | |
