| Hello, I have about 600 feet of New England 13.4mm (1/2") static line I am selling by the foot. This rope is new and has not been used for anything. I think the model number is EN1891. It is called Low Stretch Life Line. I am asking $0.85 per foot. Send me an email if you are interested. I can send you a photo of a section of the rope. Thanks. | |

| Bruce,
Out of curiosity what are the applications for 13.4mm static line? I imagine mostly rescue type work. | |

| You could use 13.4mm static rope for many things, but I wouldn't want to carry it for long distances. Arboreal work would probably be one of the best applications for this type of rope. In fact my brother and I are going to use a 200' section of it this summer for tree trimming in Canada. You could also use it for a high-angle rope course, a zip line, or to fix long-term to a cliff or tree. It could be used for crossing streams, crevasses, or similar obstacles. That is all I can think of at the moment. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers. | |
