Opening crux move

Areas on State Game Lands may face full hunting season closure starting in 2015 - please read and respond MORE INFO >>>

Description

Powerful movement from start to finish. The entire climb is hard, but the crux is probably moving through the sharp edges guarding the chains.

It is possible to link this route up with Hinterland? for a much longer climb.

Location

Just right of Groovin'.

Protection

5 or so bolts to chains. The protection and anchor bolts are probably due for replacement.

12d? I thought the consensus on this was 13a, this thing is hard bottom to top. Some people have indicated its like a V7/8 boulder problem.

Ryan, Eric told me its original grade was 5.12d, so that is what I posted it at.
