Check with the locals as to the water depth/condition...but deep water soloing happens here along with two rope swings, and cliff jumping (sometimes on purpose, most of the times on accident)

Getting There 

across the street from Hangdog toward the bridge is a hidden track that leads to the water's edge. there's a substantially long shuffle to be had on the limestone ledge that's slick and muddy at times (just have fun with it). the ledge eventually widens to a good cove, rope swings and a 30 foot roof just above the water's edge called 'Honeycomb Roof'

Prominent roof boulder over the Takaka river. A long roof with a honeycomb of positive holds that lead in a variety of directions. Every time you climb it you find a new sequence! Many have made it across the roof, but very few have made the difficult move pulling over the lip, making it a V5. A great way to cool off after a hard days climbing.
